Grapes: 100% Viura
Age of Vines: 20 years old
Alcohol: 12.50%
Color: Bright straw with pale green edges.
Bouquet: Intense fresh fruit aromas of apples, stone fruit and bananas.
Taste: Refreshing and lively on the palate, with good balance between fruit and acidity.
Winemaker Notes: Cold maceration of the grapes before fermentation to extract maximum flavour and aromas from the skins. Fermented in Stainless steel temperature controlled vats and then cold stabilized. Gently Fined and Filtered.
2007 ILAGARES, Tinto, Jove, Navarra, Spain
Grapes: 70% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacha, 5% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon
Age of Vines: 30 years old.
Alcohol: 13.00%
Colour: Medium deep red with bright violet edges.
Bouquet: Intense ripe red fruit, with jam and toffee hints.
Taste: Nice structure, with a powerful dominance of ripe fruit and balanced acidity.
Winemaker Notes: Fermented constantly at 75 degrees Fahrenheit, with an extended maceration of 15 days. Then followed by 6 months in American Oak, racked monthly and then gently fined and filtered
