In the heart of Ribera del Duero, in the Valladolid district of Piñel de Arriba, stands the Valtravieso estate is the highest winery in Ribera del Duero at over 3,000 feet.
Valtravieso is a recent and dynamic winery that has, in spite of its young age, demonstrated its outstanding character and personality, ever since the first vintage in 1994.
With a very little rain and severe temperature swings, the 200 acres of vines located there are authentic survivors on this isolated plateau.
We are talking of one of the latest harvest in Spain, starting mid October and ending by mid November to achieve the optimum ripening.
Valtravieso is proud to offer the Dominio de Nogara wines as the apex of their wine program created for your enjoyment.
